Biography: In Summer 2005, Jim joined The Mazza Law Group, P.C. after spending over two decades in civil litigation in Philadelphia. While at Rutgers University, Jim was a Member and President of the political science honor society, Pi Sigma Alpha, and elected to Who’s Who Among American Universities and Colleges. Since graduating from Temple Law School, Jim has presented oral arguments at all appellate levels in Pennsylvania and has had many cases published in The Pennsylvania Law Reporter as well as the Workers’ Compensation Reporter where they are cited as precedent in pending litigation. Jim has contributed regularly to the legal community as a frequent lecturer in Continuing Legal Education programs for the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers’ Association. His articles on workers’ compensation law, practice and procedure have been published in numerous professional journals. Jim has also served as a past Program Director of the Philadelphia Workers’ Compensation Claims Association. Jim lives with his wife, Kay, and their son James, Jr., and daughter, Lauren Kathryn, in Port Matilda, Pennsylvania.
